Organizational Profile Isiphosethu Creative Arts Foundation is a dynamic and visionary skills development institution focused on empowering young people—especially in rural and under-resourced communities—through education in Creative Arts. We specialize in Drama, Music, Theatre, Dance, and Visual Arts, using these as transformative tools for youth development and career pathing. Founded by a team of great and visionary creative and experienced director who has been in the industry for 13 years, the Foundation operates across KwaZulu-Natal, particularly in uMkhanyakude District, where access to the arts is limited but talent is abundant. Our model includes training, production opportunities, and direct industry linkages through our partnerships with television networks and the Department of Education.

Mission Statement

Isiphosethu Creative Arts Foundation is committed to nurturing the creative potential of young people by providing inclusive, innovative, and industry-aligned training in Drama, Music, Theatre, Dance, and Visual Arts. We empower youth to tell their stories, develop sustainable careers, and uplift their communities through the power of the arts.

Strategic Goals

  1. Expand Access to Arts Education
    Deliver comprehensive creative arts programs to youth in underserved communities, especially within KwaZulu-Natal and the uMkhanyakude District.

    Offer structured training, mentorship, and professional opportunities to bridge the gap between grassroots talent and mainstream industry platforms.

  3. Strengthen Industry and Educational Partnerships
    Foster robust collaborations with television networks, educational institutions, and government bodies to create employment, exposure, and growth opportunities.

    Use arts education to celebrate and evolve local cultural expressions while equipping youth with modern artistic and technical skills.
